Ronnie Thomas resigned the position of Head Boys Basketball Coach effective Monday, April 9, 2018. A search for his replacement will begin immediately.
“Ronnie did an outstanding job, and he’ll be missed,” Northridge High School athletic director Dave Harms said. “I wish him all the best luck in his business endeavor. I know it was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.”
In 2012, he was named the seventh head coach in the history of the Raider program. Thomas, a 2005 Northridge High school graduate, recently completed his sixth full season in the position, compiling a 76-60 win-loss record during that span. He guided the Raiders to a sectional title in 2015 and a Northern Lakes Conference co-championship in 2018. He was also a two-time NLC Coach of the Year.
The deadline to apply for the Northridge High School head boys basketball coaching vacancy is Friday, May 4, 2018. Interested candidates should visit mcsin-k12.org, click on Human Resources, and click Job Listings/Applications.
“We’re looking for an energetic, positive, influential coach who can continue the Northridge tradition,” Harms said.
